How do I register for the Convention? Registration opens in January 2018! Check back then, or join our "Hold A Seat" list by emailing info@StrategicHRus.com with the subject line "Hold a Seat for me at HRC18!"
How do I get a room at the Samoset? The majority of the Convention’s participants stay at many of the wonderful offsite locations Rockport and Rockland has to offer. The Samoset has a limited number of onsite rooms, just 178 rooms for our 850+ participants! Visit our Accommodations page for more information on the Samoset as well as other nearby properties.
What do you get with a Convention pass? Attendee registration includes access to all workshops, plenary sessions, keynotes,and session materials for the days you are registered. You also may join the receptions, entertainment, and meals for the days on which you are registered.
Meals provided by the Convention include: LUNCH Tuesday through Friday; BREAKFAST Wednesday through Friday; RECEPTIONS Tuesday through Thursday. Dinner is on your own.
Tuesday's Welcome Gala Dinner Tickets: Move quckly - tickets are selling out! Join your friends from Maine SHRM and around the state for a delightful buffet dinner and even more delightful conversation. A great way to continue your peer networking and homecoming chats. Guests are welcome! Be sure to purchase this add-on when you complete your online registration.
Recertification Numbers: We are a SHRM preferred provider, and the 2017 program was pre-approved for 23 PDC’s towards SHRM CP and SCP recertification. We also received credit approval from HRCI for 23 GENERAL credits for PHR and SPHR, and up to 16.75 BUSINESS credits towards SPHR recertification.
Pre-Convention Experiences: Arriving early to the Samoset? On Monday of Convention week, take advantage of our Early Registration and Open House Networking afternoon. Enjoy Bard Coffee, scrumptious nibbles, and homecoming conversations. From 3-6pm in the front lobby, this is the perfect setting for the start of your Convention week!

MAKE CONNECTIONS, with your local HR Chapter and your fellow HR peers. We work hard to provide the best HR education and a memorable Convention experience, but much of the value of this Convention is in your hands. Share your special HR talents and tips with your peers. JOIN THE ANTHEM WELLNESS CHALLENGE! Put yourself on the track to better health with this fun, four-day challenge powered by HealthTrails. By just simply registering and taking part in this year's Anthem Wellness Challenge, you could win great prizes!
What is HealthTrails? It is an engaging wellness program where participants record their healthy behaviors. For each healthy choice, you move along virtually through beautiful Honolulu, Hawaii. Once registered, track your daily steps and exercise to progress through the trail. You also get credit for mindful eating and how much water you drink!

Special Breastfeeding & Pumping Room for New Moms Attending the Convention. And it's not in the bathroom or in a closet. Check-in with the registration desk for access information.
Guest Privileges: A guest staying with you is welcome to utilize the Mobile Hub, enjoy the complimentary coffee from Bard and gelato from Gorgeous Gelato, and take advantage of the special Convention golf rate. You may purchase an additional Tuesday Night Gala dinner ticket if your guest would like to attend the networking dinner.
